I must warn you, this Easy Apple Crisp recipe is NOT on the healthy side! Every now and again you gotta have something not so healthy right?? This Apple Crisp recipe is super simple to make. I actually got this recipe from my daughter. She is 10 years old and she had to do a state project. She chose Tennessee. One of the recipes known in Tennessee is this Apple Crisp recipe (or at least that’s what the research told her).
She was telling me about this project she was working on and how she had to make a dish to take to school when she presented her project. Her dad actually made it with her. It came out really well and he sent me the recipe that she had written up.
This was exciting for me so I had to share it!
Needless to say I was very excited so I had to add this recipe to my blog. Now mind you, most of my recipes are healthy, but how could I pass this up? I absolutely LOVE sweets. Every now and again I’ll make a not so healthy dessert. But when I do it must be made from scratch. I take lots of pride with baking and cooking from scratch. This Apple Crisp is super simple so I felt like I had to share.
Can you say….OMG?!?!
It’s pretty much like Apple Pie, but without all the hard work. Of course I had to top it off with vanilla ice cream. All I can say is YUM-O (as Rachel Ray would say). This Apple Crisp right here is amazing. You can’t go wrong!
I just now had a thought….I bet it would be great with peaches!! Next time I’ll have to try that. You know, you could almost make this with any type of fruit. The recipe is so versatile.
Pampered Chef Products that I love…..
I absolutely love to bake using Pampered Chef products. I have used them for over 15 years. They are great for baking in as well as have many other uses. Most of the foods that I bake in are like the ones you see above which is their stoneware. This one is glazed but you can find so many others! These pans are just the tip of the ice berg to what they offer. I think most of the gadgets in my kitchen are pampered chef.
